We'll show you how through dozens of examples you can photograph and examine yourself. Jump-start your trend assortment with the exclusive GMI window-fashion designs, fabrics, trims, wall coverings, and accessories. We'll give you the how-to instruction and techniques to translate those designs into astounding window fashions.

Why Design Matters
For many, "trends" are silly, superficial, and simply driven by media hype. But true trends are based on changes in consumer needs and behaviors. Recognizing and responding effectively to trends is a great way to grow your business; it's fun and fits your natural abilities as a designer. We'll show our process of trend development with real-life examples of the impact of the Design Economy that you can immediately apply to your own business.

These are the new directions for the luxury market. Edenism is about making every moment significant, emphasizing the rare and the unique, and indulging your senses to the utmost extreme.

Dreamy, dramatic, and unabashedly over-the-top, these are the window fashions and accessories for the luxe life.

Sip & Snip:
A refreshing and entertaining break in the day, Sip & Snip presents the opportunity to examine some of the materials that are integral to trends. Snip swatches of wallpaper and fabrics to build your own trend reference library while we discuss the fabrics appropriateness, why they fit the trends, and what will and won't work.

Design-o-nomics
What does design have to do with Multiple Personalities, Gen. C, and Experience Economy? Discover how these consumer behaviors are changing entire industries and how they impact the future of design. Today reality appears too grim and oppressive so we turn to fantasies and look back to ancient beliefs in hopes that they answer some current questions. Our second trend features:

Alchemy: Cabinet of Curiosities, Chymestry, and Renegade Craft
Transformation, mystery, discovery, and more, the ancient pseudo-science of Alchemy has surprisingly wide-spread impact on today's design scene.
